Gaspard de Coligny-Complex for Hospice Wallon foundation

The complex is Hospice Wallon foundation at theo mann-Bouwmeesterlaan, The Hague. The complex is comprising 24 guaranteed care houses in 2.670 m², a community centre on the ground floor and an underground car park. The complex was designed in cohesion with and as an extension to the existing retirement home. From the project in mid-1996, Gaspard de Coligny was completed autumn 2000 by Piet Grouls, Peter Vermeulen, Marc Mattheijer from Architectenvanmourik. The design looks like interest, takes account of the possibility of the existing complex being demolished in the future, and the new volume then becoming the basis for the total complex to be designed at that time.
