The Drug Aid Station in Flierbosdreef

As with the Police Detention Southwest plays the paradox of disappearing, and displaying a leading role.  The complex stands on a prominent place in the Amsterdam Bijlmer, where the city center, near the H and Bijlmerpark meet.  The tight location, next to a fire station and between the elevated Flierbosdreef and the
park consists of two separate lots on either side of an exit of the lane, ending at a slow traffic route.  To accommodate the other functions while freeing the fragile surface of the largely closed cellenhuis this three layers lifted.  The elongated block acquires such a position between the flat disc and the already existing fire station, perpendicular to the Flierbosdreef.  The block is wrapped in a light blue-gray colored screen grids.  The color, different blade angles and the pattern of the grids to the elevated volume, depending on weather conditions, merge into the air.  The building of a double play hide and manifest.
The two buildings under the cellenhuis with the ramp and exit parking areas designed as a scenic base in brown brick.  As the cell block dissolves in the air, so do the volumes in the embankment construction of the elevated lane.  They form an articulated transition between the lane and the adjacent park and provide a pleasant environment for pedestrians and activities on the ground.
On the side of the avenue, the front office functions (reception, bussluis, interrogation rooms, offices, staff rooms) located in the cell.  To a watercourse along the park is the provision of integrated drug assistance GG&GD.  This volume has a round head and pulled out window frames got its own character and identity.
The interiors have a bubbly character, despite the problematic features.  The police made a tiebreaker by the principal and most certain color scheme in the drug ambulance ensure the partly glass 'kiosks' and the contrasting colors and materials for an articulate area.
To play the architecture of the building, both in context and within the world game with a sensitive and robust mediation confrontation and reflects both the hard and extremely fragile identities of its clients.
The project is due to concerns related to the combination of medical and accommodation functions.  But the emphasis on logistics, hygiene, safety and good for the client to make it relevant.  The GCD is obviously a known party in care.  The drug aid station is a building where the GGD Amsterdam acted as principal.  It includes features and spaces for GGD, Jellinek, Social Services, HOV, SSCW consisting of consumption rooms, bar supply, activity rooms, infirmary, emergency room, doctors rooms, safe medicine, concierge, meeting rooms, offices.  During construction, the bedrooms for the night shelter (HOV) fell.
