“Hatchlight” Lamp Design by Robert Stadler

“Hatchlight” lamp has created by Robert Stadler and developed for the restaurant two Corso. This great lamp is made in lieu of sunlight in a room with low light. The concept of this lamp is how to move the incoming sunlight.

 Designer description :
“Hatchlight” was first developed for the Corso 2 restaurant. The place enjoys a great location yet it lacks direct sunlight, so I looked for a way to bring the sun in. Hatching refers to the, more or less, rough drawing gesture that is commonly used when rendering an object 3-dimensional by shading it. With “Hatchlight” the opposite effect occurs, as the hatching reveals the lamp’s reflector, which is indeed made of a special golden sticky tape applied manually. It works like in a child’s story where a drawing becomes real : Draw me a lamp…
